 This week we will be starting our next chapter.  The chapter will cover money.  The students will need to identify the coins.  Please work on this at home. 

Notes

 

 *  No school on Monday, January 18.

*  If school is dismissed early because of snow the walkers and students that get picked up can be picked up 15 minutes before dismissal time.  An example would be that if it says on the television that school will be dismissed at 12:30 you can pick your child up starting at 12:15.  The dismissal time is when the buses will leave the high school.

*  Please practice writing last names.

* Please practice identifying coins and their value.

2010

 With the holiday break and the snow break we are getting back into the swing of things.  We are trying something new.  If your child is not showing respect to the class or himself I will write his or her name on the board and that is a warning.  If the behavior continues then they will get a check behind their name and stand by the wall at recess for five minutes.  If the behavior continues then I will put another check behind their name and then I will write a note home.  If the following day they get two checks behind their name then they will get a note sent home and they will need to visit with Mr.  Jibben.  Thank you for your cooperation!
